Farm Hill, March 31, 2025 — Farm Hill Elementary School recently wrapped up an exciting and successful Boosterthon Fun(d) Run event, raising funds for the school’s programs and initiatives. Held on March 21, 2025, the event was a highlight of the school's fundraising efforts, which spanned several weeks.
Students from all grade levels participated in the run, which featured an energetic and colorful atmosphere as they ran laps around the school gym. While the run itself took place on March 21, fundraising continued through March 28, and the school raised 78% of its ambitious $15,000 goal.
The event, which is part of Farm Hill’s ongoing commitment to enhancing educational opportunities, attracted donations from an impressive 22 states across the nation. This widespread support is a testament to the strong sense of community and generosity surrounding the school.
Classroom Champions: Miss Jap's Fourth Graders Lead the Way
Among the many participating classes, Miss Jap’s fourth-grade class emerged as the fundraising leaders, with students raising an impressive $71 per lap. Their enthusiasm and determination set the bar high for their fellow classmates and helped drive the success of the event. The entire school community rallied behind the effort, showing just how committed they are to supporting the students and teachers at Farm Hill. It should be noted that Mrs. Kovach's class had held the lead for the most dollar donations for most of the fundraising period, but was passed by Miss Japs' class in the last week.
Looking Forward to the Future
Funds raised will go towards educational programs, school supplies, and other activities, ensuring that students have the best possible experience throughout the year. The school has expressed deep gratitude for the incredible support from parents, staff, and the community.
“We’ve seen the impact of this fundraiser already, and it’s exciting to see the level of engagement and support from our community,” said Miss Jap. “Our class worked hard to contribute, and it’s amazing to see how much we’ve raised. We’re proud to be part of something that will benefit our school.”
The Boosterthon Fun(d) Run not only brought together students for a day of fitness and fun but also helped strengthen the sense of school spirit and community. As Farm Hill Elementary looks toward future fundraising events, the success of this year’s Boosterthon serves as a reminder of the power of collective effort and the positive impact it can have on the school’s growth and development
