kindness rocks

The Kindergarten KPA class at Farm Hill School, under the enthusiastic guidance of Mrs. Lenore Williams, recently took part in a heartwarming and fun-filled day focused on kindness.

The young students in Mrs. Williams' class celebrated the power of kindness through a creative art project — painting "Kindness Rocks".

The students painted colorful rocks with messages of kindness, such as "Be Brave" and "Kindness Matters." These rocks will be spread around the school grounds for other students and staff to discover, spreading cheer and positivity to everyone who comes across them.

"We wanted to teach our students that kindness isn't just about words, but about actions," said Mrs. Williams. "The kindness rocks project was a perfect way to express these values through art. Our goal is to make sure they know that even the smallest gestures can have a big impact."

The Kindergarten Kindness Day was a reminder to both students and staff of the importance of building a positive, supportive school culture. Farm Hill School continues to encourage kindness, not just during special events, but throughout the school year, with a variety of projects and lessons designed to cultivate empathy, respect, and community spirit.

Parents and staff alike are excited to see how these small acts of kindness will inspire the school to share love and joy with others, one painted rock at a time. As the snowflakes fell gently to the ground, it was clear that, in Mrs. Williams' class, kindness is the snowball that just keeps rolling.
